Preparation: rinse the buckwheat prior to cooking, then place in boiling water, using a 1 to 2 ( 1:2 ) ratio of buckwheat to water. Add salt and/or other spices to taste then simmer for about 15-20 minutes. When buckwheat has become tender, it is ready to be served.
