Potato juice, an excellent remedy for gastroesophageal reflux. How to prepare it
Quite unknown, raw potato juice makes for an excellent remedy for gastroesophageal reflux and not only. See how to make it and how long to consume it for.
Potatoes acquired a low reputation because they are generally cooked in a lot of oil, although, if consumed boiled or in a juice form, they are quite nutritious. This vegetable, the potato, has carbs, protein, fiber and vitamins such as B, A and C. Additionally, they are an excellent source of magnesium, iron, potassium and others.
Careful though, if they started growing roots, became soft to touch or display green areas, they must be disposed of because these factors indicate high content of solanine, which is a substance with fungicidal and pesticidal role, rather dangerous for health.
Raw potato juice is very easy to prepare as you only need a juice extractor and a few raw, peeled and washed potatoes. If you dislike the taste, you can add a carrot or banana. It's sufficient to consume half a cup of raw potato juice three times a day, about an hour before each meal, for a period of two weeks.
Other remedies include soda, fermented food, chamomile tea or ginger tea.
